construction of the vietnam-germany university commenced in ben cat town in the southern province of binh duong on october 6.

total investment capital is over us$200 million of which us$180.4 million from preferential loan of the international development association (ida) and us$20.2 million from the government’s budget aiming to develop educational facility management, training growth and scientific research.

the new campus is being constructed on a 50.5 hectare area of land in thoi hoa ward, ben cat district in binh duong province with modern architecture adapted to fit vietnam’s conditions.
